| I was half-way through reviewing this antipodean site when their server melted, exploded, or otherwise stopped, well, serving. That was a few months ago. Now they're back on their feet, what's new?
Luckily I'd saved the old review, and was able to refer to it to refresh my memory of how things used to be. First off, there's a lot more models and a lot more photosets. You've got just over 40 models, in over 130 sets. Also new is the ability to download photosets as zips, which is much more convenient. The site itself retains all the sophistication of My First Website, a rough draft of a practice run, but being underdressed is still easier on the eye than some overly-flashy offerings. If nothing else, it underscores that this is a one-man operation. However, as it accumulates more and more models, some kind of search tool might help.
The videos, aren't of Oscar-winning technical quality although they do much to showcase the personalities of these amateur models. New equipment would help here, especially a decent microphone (minor case of camera buzz syndrome). But the copious and high-res photos make up for it, hitting just the right mix of quality without getting too glossy. Your congenial host (who doesn't so much as lay his shadow on the girls) shoots all material in his own house.
If I'm criticising the site, it's usually because I have no complaints about the models. That's certainly the case here. They come in all sorts of attractive shapes and pleasing sizes, from the just-finished-school to the just-taken-the-kids-to-school. And most demonstrate the famed Aussie down-to-earthness we've all heard so much about, and are up for fun, whether that be strip-teasing, or exploring the SCV toy chest.
$19.50 a month is eminently reasonable for what you get, and with a little bit of polish and a new video camera, this site would be playing in the top (amateur) leagues.
