| Welcome to a land where unfeasibly gorgeous girls bathe in naturally formed volcanic pools; where purified, pouting teens contort against the slats of Venetian blinds - their bodies bathed in fragmented sunlight.
Fem Joy’s enduring purpose is to exhibit “the most beautiful women photographed by the best in the business”, and they're certainly not far from hitting their own defined sweet spot. Obvious comparisons will be made to the MET Art franchise - from which Fem Joy shamelessly takes its template – but hey, if you’re going to borrow, why not borrow from the best of ‘em?
Paying punters are treated to a fresh photo shoot daily which, considering the significant quality, is creditable going. With 158 models and archives that stretch back to May ‘04, members are lavishly spoiled for choice.
The videos are undoubtedly appealing but, as with many nude-art sites, feel like more of a token gesture rather than the site’s significant selling point. Although not full-screen or DVD quality, it's still aesthetically pleasing to see these tight-bodied teens in elegant, jaw-dropping motion.
If I was asked to be pernickety, the variation in visuals isn't vast with most shoots taking place in beating harsh sunlight. A few darker, moodier shoots would certainly add an extra edge to Fem Joy’s already impressive collection.
For $24.95 (re-bills at $19.95) and with an ever-expanding optical anthology, Fem Joy is certainly up there with the best of them.
