Perhaps you shouldn't invest this with too much importance, but my current desktop wallpaper hails from this sepia-toned, woodcut, antequarian's delight of a gem of a jewel of a site.
Delta of Venus is something of a curate's egg. The collection of vintage erotica spans many decades, with the bulk of the films from 1920s France. If "bulk" isn't a little misleading. This is very much a personal, limited collection, placed on the web for your delectation, but with seemingly no urgent desire to serve its clientele with new tittilation from yesteryear. I've been keeping my one remaining eye on the site, and haven't seen updates in some months now.
Despite this state of stasis, I'm recommending a close look at this one, because fascinating doesn't do it justice. It's gotten me wondering if perhaps period porn is possibly an emerging fetish all of its own. This isn't a site for the true historian of erotica. There's not enough research to back up the material, but I personally loved this window on the past. You might be surprised to see that what at least some of our forefathers were wanking themselves crazy over, wasn't so different to today's porn. And in other ways, so very different...
Take yourself off for a tour, and see if your curiosity is piqued sufficiently to part with a paltry, loose-change-resembling $9 for a month's access.
