Yes, these things are ten a penny nowadays. But this one has grown quite significantly in popularity since it was launched last April. Like with Eros, Logos, the mood here is very much a serious one taking a very adult and detailed look at the sex lives of these two, and examining how sex can resurrect a seemingly faltering relationship.
Indeed, it is those observations which are the most interesting part of this journal and are certainly more eye-opening than many professional studies into relationship and marriage issues. The frank sexual descriptions occasionally suffer from uncomfortable wording, but Wendy is an immensely talented writer who pulls things back on track very quickly.
An excellent read that might become repetitive after a while, but the commitment to investigating sex in relationships here keep this one very strong indeed.
