If I was a teacher instead of a pirate, I'd be grading Cinema Erotique with an A for effort, and a B- for standard.
Yes, from my perspective, this is a site with a very promising future and with the best yet to come. What we see a lot of at Self-Lover's World are videos of people having sex. "Well naturally, you idiot" you might exclaim. What I'm trying to do is draw a distinction between a video camera being pointed at two or more human bodies fornicating, and the scripted, edited, and yes, cinematic material, and this is what Cinema Erotique provides.
But to aim higher requires more skill and experience, on both sides of the camera, and though the ambition is laudable, some of the end results would suggest a little more practice is in order. Thankfully, Ms Cherry Chapman and team don't take things too seriously, and you couldn't make an accusation of pretentious stick. The five main features and one short episode of spanking show imagination and some spirited performances. "Dream", I greatly enjoyed, and that was one of the most visually inventive films I've seen in a good long while. Bravo!
The stripteases are a bonus selection of the actresses taking their clothes off to musical accompaniment. There's 5 short videos in that section, but like the main videos, they're fairly low resolution, but somehow manage to take a long time to download, which is a shame. This is yet another site that could benefit itself and its visitors with a schooling in video encoding.
So why am I recommending you go visit (and I am)? I could go off on a spiel about how we need to support the British porn industry. Instead, I'll attempt to appeal to your self-interest- it's very cheap. Go for the 2 day option, and all of the videos can be yours for just $5. Think of it as a downloadable DVD for about the price of a fancy drink. A load of cock tales for a cocktail. Go grab the samples, and hand over the dough, Joe. Or Josephine.
